Aside from my normal scheduled classes, I also offer a number of different yoga practices which can be adapted to suit the participants needs and ability level.
Chair Yoga greatly benefits our ageing population, aiding mobility, flexibility, healthy muscles and joints, circulation, balance and coordination. Can be 1-1 or group sessions. A gentle practice that can promote an active lifestyle in our golden years.
A number of seated and standing exercises using the chair for stability with the addition of small equipment, breathing exercises and relaxation.
A bottle of water, a warm layer and wear comfortable clothing.
Classes tailored to focus specifically on the three Trimesters and Post Natal reconditioning. This can be guided through the principles of either Yoga or Pilates classes.
Yoga poses or Pilates exercises that are specially adapted to suit the changes in the body throughout Pregnancy and during the Post Natal period.
Cushions or a bolster, water and a light snack. Wear stretchy comfortable clothing.
Kids yoga classes are structured and fun, with a different theme or focus each week. Starting with fundamental breathing exercises, helps the children to manage their emotions and prepare for the class. We follow with a mix of yoga poses to work all areas of the body, strengthening muscles and increasing concentration.
