My heartfelt thanks goes out to all the courageous women that showed up on Thursday evening to explore our group Kundalini activation. For some of the group it was their first time experiencing this healing modality.
A sense of the unknown, what to expect ? can certainly create a few nerves.
Generally this is because our mind likes to be in control, and we like to know what’s coming next … ahh the human conditioning!
Before the session starts, I explain what Kundalini energy is, how the session will flow and what might come up to be expressed through the body and the nervous system. The reason for this is to help put them at ease as any fear can hinder their experience.
When we get in our heads we don’t give ourselves permission to fully receive and express.
I mention, that because as energetic beings we can store, our stress, emotions, patterns and stories in our physical bodies which can create stagnant or blocked energy which may lead to other health conditions.
My role as a facilitator is to help each participant feel safe and held, so that they can express, and release some of these old stories.
Spending time with each person in turn, our energies create a dance together to encourage the movement, activation and release of suppressed energy and emotions, in a loving and supportive environment.
Participants often leave at the end of the session feeling so much lighter, as the years of holding so much in their bodies falls away…
They leave feeling clearer, empowered, more balanced and extremely relaxed.
I would like to thank the amazing @amanda_ turneryoga for kindly giving up her time to facilitate with me for such a lovely group and to the gorgeous and generous soul that is @jennieroberts_art for her constant support, kindly allowing me to use her private space yet again.
Last but not least to Simon @embodiedstillness for sharing his wisdom and experience as our teacher trainer.

A short visit last week to Weymouth, seeing the local area, dodging the downpours whilst driving through countryside to find cute villages, enjoying the beach and pretty harbour.
Barefoot walks along the beach, paddling and gathering shells 🐚 for my gratitude ceremonies… a change of scenery, sea air and hearing the soft sound of the waves rolling in to shore, soothes my soul and unplugs me from my head and connects me back to present moment….

Meeting up with a dear friend for a walk in the rain,under the shelter of the woodland canopy, we spotted lots of Oyster Mushrooms on one tree that’s being gradually decomposed by the fungi, most of the good stuff was out of our reach, but with a long stick we managed to loosen one . I was delighted to come across this bountiful gift, from nature. So thankful,🙏
There are so many wonderful healing plants, packed with nutrients that is free food all around us, our plants are beings that generously provide all we need as long as we are respectful and only take a small percentage, so that we leave more than enough for other wildlife.
You can educate yourself, with foraging books, courses and apps that can help you identify the everyday plants you thought were weeds, so many of our ancestors knew about the medicine of our native plants, maybe it’s time to return and rediscover the knowledge for yourself, it will help you reconnect to nature, which many of us have become disconnected from, in modern technological times…. Go and explore, did I forget to mention it’s also great fun 🤩

A week ago we spent a wonderful weekend with my fa

A week ago we spent a wonderful weekend with my family visiting my gorgeous daughter in Bristol and her boyfriend, she did an amazing job of organising something to suit us all.
A walk in the Downs, visiting the local goats, and chilling out under a tree, an Indonesian restaurant for dinner, Portuguese plant based restaurant for lunch. A pub for my husband to watch the Arsenal game from, alongside her lovely friends and housemates and followed by a Sunday morning visit to a popular craft and food street market. What was most important of all was to just be together as a family and to see how happy and settled she is making a new life for herself in Bristol.

I was blessed to be invited to offer a sound bath for the lovely @stellachenerymoonstone at her recent Wellbeing Retreat in Glastonbury, at the very peaceful sanctuary of St Michael’s Retreat centre.
It was wonderful to hold a gentle sound bath for Stella’s wonderful guests to help them rest deeply into their intentions for the retreat.
I love visiting Glastonbury it’s like a coming home so was thrilled when Stella offered me the opportunity to work with her.
I also brought my dear friend Julie with me to Glastonbury for her first visit of many I’m sure..
A big thank you to Stella and Paddy for making us both feel so welcome and for including us to join them for dinner. Plus the surprise of the generous gift bag as a lovely memory from the Retreat.

Such a privilege to hold space for these wonderful women in April, who gave themselves permission to connect with their energy fields, to allow clearing to take place, and for me to support them through this process.
As you can see each persons energy fields can express its life force in many unique ways, which can look and feel different for everyone. They may feel sensations, their bodies may shake or move spontaneously, vision and voice may also be expressed.
After grounding the session, participants nervous systems can feel lighter, clearer and deeply restful.
